Koalas are primarily in the gum forests of eastern and southern Australia, enjoying a climate that is relatively temperate. These adorable marsupials devote much of their existence reposing in the foliage, feeding almost exclusively eucalyptus leaves, which are poor in nutrients and demand a significant amount of energy to process.
